Copenhagen Energy has been developing the projects since the start of 2024. It will now proceed work with the procurement of long-lead components such as batteries, inverters, and transformers, after which it will choose engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contractors and key suppliers.
With construction works scheduled to begin late this year, the facilities are expected to be commissioned in the first half of 2026. Copenhagen Energy has been developing the projects since the start of 2024.
Commenting on the Danish energy storage market, Copenhagen Energy said that it offers a solid mix of revenue opportunities through both ancillary services and energy arbitrage.
