This policy was initially piloted in July 2021 at the Yangpu Free Trade Port Zone and has since been extended across Hainan, enhancing the industrial capabilities of the FTP. As of mid-2025, Hainan is demonstrating substantial growth and has made considerable advances towards its goal of becoming a significant free trade port on the global stage.
